Education Changes Lives. Help Students Graduate.

 100UP is a UCT initiative addressing the problem of demographic under-representation in higher education by targeting school learners from disadvantaged backgrounds and coaching them towards university access. 

 The Schools Improvement Initiative (SII) is one of the university’s key strategic initiatives. The Initiative draws on the university’s broader resources to support the Western Cape Education Department in improving the quality of education in this province.  

Students Health and Welfare Centre Organization. SHAWCO is student-led, but not student-managed. We rely on a core group of staff members who mentor and support the students, assist with logistics, monitor, oversee programs, and have strict controls in place regarding finance and governance.
